Josja Zijlstra

Biography:
Josja Zijlstra studied Economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Holland and graduated in 1991. After graduation she started as a Marketing Manager at Het Financieele Dagblad, Holland’s biggest financial newspaper. After two years she left for VNU and worked, as part of the Management Development Program in various business units; successively regional newspapers, free newspapers, magazines and Line- & Brand extensions (business development). Her last position for VNU (by then part of Sanoma) was as Publisher for, among other titles, Cosmopolitan in Romania. During her stay there she was responsible for launching FHM in Romania. After Romania she switched to Telegraaf Media Group to become Publisher of first the men’s magazine segment and after that the women’s titles. After five years in these positions she was asked to start up the business in Ukraine. She moved to Ukraine in 2005 to start our operation here.

Alex Janssen
Role: Commercial Director/ Chief Commercial Officer

Biography:
Alex Janssen(*1964) started January 1st in 2007 as Commercial Director/ Chief Commercial Officer of the Telegraaf Media Group Ukraine and is responsible for all commercial activities of the group, currently consisting of Telegraaf Magazines Ukraine, Telegraaf News Media and Telegraaf Interactive Media. Alex Janssen holds a Master degree in Business Economics (1991, Erasmus University Rotterdam) with specialization in International Management, and joined us from Telegraaf Media Groep N.V. where he was responsible for the sales organization of the largest Dutch national newspaper (“Telegraaf” with daily (7/7) 2.100.000 readers). Before that he worked 1 year as a Sales Director Indirect with Nashuatec (printers, copiers and business solutions), 2,5 years as a Sales Director for Scoot Benelux (internet company). From ‘91 until ’99 he worked with Rothmans Tobacco Company (currently British American Tobacco) where he held several Marketing and Sales Management positions and gained international experience working for Rothmans International France as Regional Manager.

Manon van der Lit

Biography:
Manon van der Lit studied Economics at the Business School in Haarlem, Holland and graduated in 1986. After graduation she started to work as a Product Manager for The Telegraaf, Holland’s biggest newspaper. After 7 years she moved within TMG to become publisher of the biggest Dutch gossip magazine, Weekblad Prive. Three years later she joined a start up (Internet) which was a joint venture between the Dutch company VNU and the British Freepages. As a Corporate Sales Director and part of the management Team she was responsible for launching the business and service directory service Scoot.nl (free call-center service and website) in the Netherlands. Again three years later she went to VNU Tijdschriften Groep (now Sanoma) as a Sales Director to launch vrouwonline.nl, an internet initiative for women in the Netherlands. The last 6 years she joined Telegraaf Media Group and worked dedicated on several projects like the launching of e-commerce sites, the automation and restructuring of the classified department and currently before her movement to Ukraine on several multi-media projects. Since January 2007 she moved to Ukraine to start up the interactive business for TMG Ukraine and to carry the final responsibility for Telegraaf News Media and free sheet Obzor.

Katerina Kushko
Role: HR Director

Biography:
studied at Kyiv National Mohila Academy University, graduated from Humanitarian department with Bachelor Degree in History and Theory of Culture. HR career started form HR Administrator (Training and Recruitment) in Japan Tobacco International, then there was a start up of American Life Insurance Company AIG Life in Ukraine where held a position of HR Manager from 2002 to 2005, cooperation with Hyatt International as an HR Director in the beginning of 2006, then from June 2007  has joined Telegraaf Media Group in Ukraine.

Dmytro Bigunyak
Role:  IT Director

Biography:
Dmytro Bigunyak graduated in 2002 from Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University, faculty of Radiophysics. After that he started working as a System Administrator for the company  UkrCard, (Ukrainian National Payment System), the biggest local payment system. In three years he left the company UkrCard for the Senior System Administrator position at Telegraaf Magazines Ukraine, where he started developing IT infrastructure.

Elena Feoktistîva

Biography:
graduated from Kharkiv State University (philologist and translator). During study worked in British Council, in TACIS European project of economic support of Ukraine. In 1998 came to Kiev and became a Manager of market researches in Unilever British-Dutch concern. Worked in marketing departments of Unilever Ukraine and Russia till 2005. In 2005 returned from Moscow to Kiev and occupied the position of Head of marketing department of  Coca-Cola company. In 2007 accepted proposal of TMU. Her main achievements consider repositioning of Sunsilk on Russian market, local marketing campaigns for Coca-Cola trade marks in Ukraine and transition from business world to the media world.
